Farewell to Mississauga Salt Cave

Goodbye Salt Cave

After 6 years of operation  Mississauga Salt Cave does not serve customers any more. New owners most likely will not keep the Cave. All holistic health practitioners were forced to move out. I am also looking for new place to continue run my meetups and have healing room. In mean time I can do only home calls.
If you know about any good place for Reflexology and Reiki practice, please let me know.

Do you feel energy with your hands?

I heard many times, that even if you do not feel anything Reiki energy flows anyway. It works whether you feel it or not. It could be true, but if your palm chakras are activated at the time of Reiki attunement further learning process is way easier. The skills of recognizing energy using your hands can be learn, like everything else. The learning process is slow and gradual, as you continue to practice giving Reiki treatments first to yourself than to others. You may not be in tune with your body as much as others, who tell fantastic stories about feeling different sensation and can experience some imagery, hear some voices or kinesthetic feelings. We all are wired differently. All you can do is at least to attempt to find your own way.

Ability to sense the flow provides you with feedback and allows to experiment with different methods, develop efficiency in sending reiki energy. It may help you to deal with blockages, allow you to sense them. Many perception techniques will relay on intuition of the healer, on results of scanning, moving hands over the body without touching the person receiving treatment, to detect dis-eases and imbalances. Can you do it? Do you want to?

Last Minute Valentine Day Idea

Skip this time around your old routine of flowers, expensive chocolate or gift. The best gift someone may receive is personal and touchy. Get better in 2016, give her the perfect feet massage. Do you know how?... I get this. If you would know how - you will not read the page about reflexology and feet massage now. OK. I can do it for you, but at least come to the Salt Cave and hold her hand. What's more romantic and better for your relation than to give her foot massage? You may share the session with the loved one.
We go whole 9 yards and all aspects are cover. There is slow music, gentle, warm hands, comfort and relaxation. For all sessions in the Salt Cave we are setting the mood as it enhances the entire experience. Soft, relaxing music mixes in the background with white noise of brine fall in graduation towers. Lights are dim, her feet are resting on the pillow covered with fresh towel. Energy of himalayan salt crystal block and minerals infused in the air does the rest. It starts with warm-up, gentle stretching to loosen aching feet up. We listen for your responses carefully to know how far you can go with the pressure. With your permission little bit of organic massage oil can be used.
SPICE UP your romance with shared reflexology and/or reiki session in the Salt Cave. They say good food is a quick way to men's heart, but foot massage could possibly be the shortcut that lead's straight to women's heart. It is not easy to master as it sounds in all googled "how to..." advises, but experiencing it may give you an idea. Every day your feed provide tireless support for you. It is the time to reward them.

Open Reiki Circle in the Salt Cave Feb 07, 2016

Join us to enjoy Reiki and Salt Cave at once. Get a sample treatment, receive reiki and enjoy remaining time for inhalation. Salt Cave in Mississauga is original, erected 6 years ago, as first one in Canada, all others are copy cats. It is great opportunity to explore reiki for those planning to get in future attunement and training. This  meetup is intended to bring awareness about Reiki and to help educate anyone who is curious about energy and willing to learn about Reiki.
This event is open also for people without formal reiki training, as introduction to energy and this ancient healing method. Share for practitioners is held other Sundays, same place, same time. If you are practitioner working on getting practice CEU hours required for Canadian Reiki Association membership and willing to join me, please drop the message. I do appreciate help to provide treatments during open reiki circles.

If the idea of having/giving treatment inside the chamber built using Himalayan salt blocks, inhalation that may improve your mental and physical condition, speaks to you, than please RSVP using any of following:
To cover cost of the space and time inside the Cave I would ask for donation of $30 for each person. See you in the Salt Cave!

Welcome all Reiki and Reflexology lovers!

Here it is - new seed planted - my brand new blog about Reiki & Reflexology! Both are my passion - Reiki for over 10 years and new discovery Reflexology for last few years. My Reiki & Reflexology Studio found home at Mississauga Salt Cave almost 3 years ago. I will celebrate 3rd anniversary in May. Beside offering sessions of energy work and foot reflexology I also do there Usui/Tibetan Reiki teaching and hosting of meetups inside the Salt Cave. It is lot of activities and for me great reasons to meet lot of new practitioners and people interested in exploring reflexology and energy work healing modalities. My intention here is to create some notes and memories from my various contacts with others.

I am Reiki Master & teacher registered with Canadian Reiki Association. Reiki practice events inside Salt Cave do count toward mandatory for CRA membership CEU hours. If you are interested, keep it in mind. Our groups are open to all Reiki practitioners, as my main interest is to share acquired Reiki skills and experience. All lineages and levels are welcome. Meetings are in small group in warm atmosphere. They are intended to bring awareness about Reiki and to help educate anyone who is curious about energy and learning about Reiki.
Warm Welcome for everyone visiting my blog and hopefully see you at the Salt Cave!
